Creative Production, Global Healing Consultant/Transformational Filmmaking--Soulprints

"Hello!  What an incredible conference!  I attended as many of your trainings as possible during my stay at NAB.  My colleagues also were extremely impressed with your training.  It was challenging financially for the 4 of us to attend this year, because we were quite affected as a non-profit with fewer and fewer donations in California, but we feel it was well worth the effort.

On a personal note, I have been a college art professor, psychotherapist/parapsych researcher and, more recently, a filmmaker for the past 30 years.  I have attended and presented at numerous workshops and want you to know the incredible skills and interpersonal training I witnessed from your team.  It was especially refreshing to see a start to finish series of footage from Abba into a workable clip, the blips along the way and the non-egotistical way it was handled.  It certainly made the training enjoyable AND I learned so much--more importantly, I believe I retained a ton this time, i.e. simple, but powerful tools like the x-y-z mathematics lesson in 1 minute-learning!--not to mention all the ways in which Jeff, not only made me cry, but WEEP (Motion & FCP functionality that I had not been exposed to previously)!!!

One of my goals in attending this conference was to create more efficient ways of producing high quality work that is aesthetically intriguing!  I know my work will grow exponentially.  I wish this conference was a month earlier, as I had a tight deadline to complete a full length documentary on Remote Viewing for the Monroe Institute through the foundation (www.f4gh.org ) just prior to this event.  Although we haven't posted a clip of this on our site yet, we will upon our return from a film product in Sedona, AZ--the reason for our early departure from NAB.  We will certainly put our new learnings into practice this week in our 24-7 editing immersion.

Regarding the announcement of FCP 10, we are thrilled.  So many of the functions that were so labor-intensive, that frankly I have been complaining about for 3 years now, have been addressed!  As soon as it is available, we will upgrade.  We will also be interested in immediate training, so that we are all on the same page--I have approximately 10 years of filmmaking experience--first as a scenic designer, then as an actress, then as a videographer & director and only in the last 5 years have I experienced editing--some initial FCP training on a much earlier version, then primarily self-trained.  I trained one of my colleagues and my other two colleagues took their first FCP Intro session at NAB.  They were thrilled to "speak the language"!

Thank you so much for your amazing contribution to this conference (I loved Jeff and Abba as targets for the Super Meet raffle ticket attack!!!)."

"I can't even begin to thank you. I've held FMC as a standard for many students to get involved with, but the conference and your generosity and honesty were inspiring. Thank you."

"I attended the FCP level 1 certification training at NAB last weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed Alex's training. The style and pace was perfect for my level and got me through the test with no problems at all - in fact I scored a 97.12%! Many thanks for great training."
